styled shoot

Commercial Photography: Love It LaVintage

This past October on a chilly day, I did a fun commercial shoot that was a collaboration with Love It LaVintage (rentals and gown), Kranich’s Jewelers (the engagement rings we got to use were STUNNING), Peterman’s Florist (flowers), Designs by Kristina (jewelry), Andrea Sirois Hair and Makeup Artist, and a canoe that a good friend let us borrow (thanks Elizabeth and Lucas!). Be sure to check out these businesses and give them some local love and support. And a HUGE shout out and lots of love to our model for the day Kristen Gray for tolerating the cold wind so well.

Creative + Collective: Styled Shoot at Clearidge Event Center

This styled shoot was a dream to be a part of. Aleecha of Clearidge Event Center and Charles of Adapt Creative Co. arranged this incredible session and brought together a number of talented and amazing vendors.

After a morning of rain, the sun broke through and we had beautiful weather with moody skies. Aleecha had a number of stunning styled sets for us to move around the property and work with. We even had a classic truck to use. As the sun set and the string lights glowed and created the most magical atmosphere.

Enjoy these favorite photos of mine from our shoot and be sure to check out and give some love to all of the amazing vendors who helped make this possible!

Bohemian Beauty

"She has the spirit of the sun, the moods of the moon, the will of the wind."

Typically when we do shoots to promote a special, upcoming session, like our Boho Boudoir Minis, I take a handful of photos, because in reality I just need one or two to use for the ad. But Andrea was this stunning, ethereal, boho goddess and I couldn't help but do a full session.

You know you want to have your own boho goddess experience with the glam squad of Studio 308 Hair Salon and yours truly. So don't wait! Sign up today because spots are limited!!!! You can find all the details here!

Styled Shoot: LaVintage Decor

Back in May I had the opportunity to once again work with LaVonne of LaVintage Decor. Working with a number of her beautiful rentals we staged a fun little shoot that was inspired by Stewart's Soda. We had a beautiful gown from Mad Lion Gallery and jewelry by Kristina at LaVintage Decor. Our Bride and Groom (Lindsey and Topher) were a hoot! There were so many laughs and one moment with a bamboo sword (sorry no photos of that, it was used to make the bride giggle naturally for a photo, which totally worked). Also involved in our shoot was a snake! Yes, that's right, a snake. It crashed our set and kept me in a state of paranoia, fearing that it would slither out and crawl on me. A big thanks to Ashley, our talented hair and makeup artist and owner of Studio 308, for keeping an eye on him (should we had snake charmer to your list of skills?)

Despite our surprise guest, we got a lot of great photos and really captured different ways you can use the pieces from Rustic Bridal & Event Rentals at LaVintage Decor.
