Class of 19: Kenzie's Blue Knob Senior Photos

It’s always an adventure with Kenzie.

Our first session we may or may not have illegally crashed a sunflower patch. This time we faced dense fog and ice which made for slippery roads and then as it melted, it pelted the car like huge chucks of hail. The ice also, at one point as Kenzie was posing among snowy trees, attacked her. But it was worth it. It was truly the most PERFECT day. It started out with fog and ice covered trees and then the clouds broke and gave way to beautiful blue skies.

Kenzie has such a bright future ahead of her that will no doubt be filled with amazing opportunities. It will be exciting to see where her path leads her in life.

Class of 19: Allison

This senior portrait session with Allison was just lovely. She had a clear vision of what she wanted. I loved that she took a simple, somewhat traditional approach to her photos. I was also so glad that this year the leaves held in till mid-November and we were able to capture that last bit of fall before the temps started to really drop. Looking back at these photos is getting me excited for the next class of 2020!

Susan

Fox Hollow Boutique Anniversary Winner

Fox Hollow Boutique, one of my favorite stores on 11th Ave, celebrated their one year anniversary this past spring. To kick off the event they had amazing swag bags for the first few people to enter the store that morning. They had so many amazing prizes from a ton of the local businesses. I contributed an entire session and I was so psyched when I saw that the winner was one of Fox Hollow’s biggest fans, Caroline. She loves the store so much that she and her family actually had chairs and camped out by the door early that morning to be sure they were the first ones in. It makes me so happy to see people so excited and loving our local businesses!

Her shoot was amazing. She had an entourage of family with her, who, as we were walking the streets of Downtown, were telling me all about its history. They had lots of amazing stories from when Downtown was THE place to be and they were happy to see a resurgence to the area.

Susan
